This site consists of approximately 180 new build units, including a mix of 2 and 3 storey houses along with several apartment blocks. The development includes both private properties and Housing Association homes, with multiple plots progressing at the same time.
Due to the size of the site and the number of units being built simultaneously, careful planning was required to keep up with the build programme. Access had to be maintained across different areas while ensuring scaffolding was in place for each stage of the works, particularly around the apartment blocks and tighter plot layouts.
Scaffolding was provided across the full site, adapting to suit the different house types and structures. This included standard housing scaffolds as well as more involved setups for the apartment buildings.
Works have continued in line with the site programme, with scaffolding being erected and struck in phases as plots progressed. The job has run smoothly overall, showing the ability to manage larger residential developments with multiple work areas.
